I am a Junior Designer at Signals Design Group (signals.ca), a communication design Graduate from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver, BC, and a children’s book author with BC’s Orca Books.

As a student, I was fortunate to play a role in the design research journal at Emily Carr, Current. As part of the design team, I was part of the design and implication of the journal, the iPad app, and as the student in charge of the blog, I was responsible for making the design process a bit more transparent. I have also worked as a research assistant to brand the Design° blog at Emily Carr, have held presentations for faculty and staff, and have conducted a series of alumni interviews, which I filmed and edited as part of a student team, as well as designing a print version. I have designed an interactive application for Professor Louise St. Pierre’s Okala Sustainability Guide, and have spoken at many Emily Carr functions about being a multiple scholarship winner.

After an amazing internship at Signals Design, I accepted a position as a Junior Designer, and have been working on many projects, including designing for many aspects of healthcare.

When I am not working, or researching for my thesis project, I am either writing books or teaching my two little boys everything they need to know about life… or maybe they are teaching me, only time will tell…
