Hi! I’m Bree, and I’m a children’s book author.
I like writing stories that inspire kids and adults to think critically about the world around them, and the ways in which we can challenge the systems in place to create change.
I use my books as a way to amplify the voices of my children, and those close to me.
I hold a Master’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, and a Master’s degree in Communication Design from Emily Carr University. I live in the heart of beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, with my family, and our dogs.

Once Upon a Balloon

Then he tells Theo about Frank, who is responsible for collecting all the balloons in the world.
